Knitting for Beginners

This is a perfect class for the absolute beginner or those who haven’t picked up needles in years. Over three sessions you will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. This class will give you the confidence you need to read a beginner or easy level pattern and select the right needles and yarn for a project. By the end of the third session, you should have your first project, a simple scarf or shawl, well under way. Supplies recommended for this class are a smooth chunky (size 5) or worsted weight (size 4) yarn and size 5mm straight or circular needles. Supplies purchased at The Creative Basket for this class will be eligible for a 10% discount. This class is suitable for ages 14+. For younger children who wish to learn (11-13), please contact Anna to arrange a private lesson.

Dates: 3 x 2hr classes to be held October 16^th, 23^rd, 30^th (Thursdays)

Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Location: The Creative Basket - 240 Main Street, Thessalon

Class Fee : 75$ + materials

Spaces Available: 4 students per class.
