Crochet For Beginners

Crochet For Beginners:

This class is perfect for an absolute beginner or someone who hasn’t crocheted in years. In this class you will learn to:

- Chain (ch)
- Slip Stitch (slst)
- Single crochet (sc)
- Half double crochet (hdc)
- Double crochet (dc)

With these skills you will be able to read a pattern and create your first project, a headband, a cowl, or a scarf. Once you start you won't be able to stop! Learn to crochet this fall and give yourself the gift of a hobby that will bring you joy for years to come.

Dates: October 2^nd and 9^th (Thursdays)
Times available: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Spaces available: 4 students per class
Class fee: 50$ + materials

Suggested Materials: A size 5mm hook and a smooth worsted or chunky weight yarn in a light solid colour. All materials purchased for this class at The Creative Basket will be eligible for a 10% discount. This class is suitable for ages 14+. For younger children who wish to learn (ages 10-13), please contact Anna to arrange a private lesson.
